I endeavoured to find raptures for stereotypes based on nationality and sexes. I drew the conclusion that the English have many common features with the Americans. Based on the royal family of the thirties, the English seem to consume a lot , prefer popular culture and use slang, exaggerated language, though, these features are generally attached to the Americans. I also realized that the ideal of the gentleman cannot be fully applied to the royal brothers, either. As for gender issues I also concluded that the men behaved differently from the pattern that their sex would demand and women shifted to virilization both in conduct and gender roles.66enmoralitymannerspopular culturecelebrity cultureheritage filmgender studiesEnglishness and the filmic representation of the 1936 Abdication CrisisdiplomamunkaDEENK Témalista::Kultúratudomány
