Mass spectrometry generates a large amount of mass to charge ratios that require a lot of time to investigate. Using mass transformation methods, such as Mass-Remainder Analysis and Kendrick Mass Defect, the peak data can be simplified into groups. The peaks within these groups have similar chemical compositions with slight variations.
