With the recognition of its signs and symptoms, orthodontists can diagnose the problem. As newer technologies are coming in place this is becoming much easier to do with more reliable results, for example with the use of CBCT, however there is still no gold standard for diagnosing. Treatment of this problem is imperative due to the fact that it can lead to both functional and esthetical problems for patients. The use of orthopedic and surgical techniques for treatment is quite successful, although with all treatments there are limitations. With the increasing development, there will be more suitable methods for treating this malocclusion without too much compromise on other factors.40enmalocclusion transverse maxilla cross-biteOrthodonticsTransverse MalocclusionDEENK Témalista::Orvostudomány::Fogorvostudomány
