In the Chinese pig market, there are rising pork prices and a shortage of pig production. In this study, a family pig farm, Fulun Pig Farm, and a medium-scale pig farm, Lvhu Pig Farm, were selected for field investigation and cost-benefit analysis. The two types of pig farms are compared in terms of construction, feeding model, operating model, revenue and cost.
