Studies point to corticosteroid therapy being beneficial for the treatment of severe Kawasaki Disease. My thesis focuses on the RAISE Study. It showed that additional prednisolone improved coronary outcomes in patients with Kawasaki Disease at high risk of IVIG resistance.
