The first chapter is centred on the first few scenes of Alice in Wonderland, which are meant to set the context for Alice to become a hero through describing the social and personal factors related to her. The second chapter explains the in-between states Alice finds herself and develops herself as a character. The final chapter is mostly concerned with the question of femininity since Alice as a female character taking traditionally masculine gender roles can be considered problematic.47enTim BurtonAlice in WonderlandfilmLewis CarrollFinding the Self in the In-betweendiplomamunkaCinematic Storytelling, Femininity, Childhood and Madness in Tim Burton's Alice in WonderlandDEENK Témalista::Kultúratudomány
