In the first part of my essay, I examine Woolf's relationship with Vita Sackville-West and draw parallels between Vita's life and the life of Orlando in Woolf's novel. In the second part, I analyse Woolf's Orlando and A Room of One's Own focusing on the elements of the androgyne.
