It focuses on the pharmacological management of senile macular degeneration. It provides a clear basis for treatment actions by outlining AMD diagnostic procedures and differential diagnosis. It goes over anti-angiogenic medication, surgical procedures, and combination treatments, including photodynamic therapy (PTD) combinations for acute neovascular AMD.
