These books are pre-intermediate course books to secondary grammar school students. The Enterprise Series are colorful, well-structured and combine the best traditional and contemporary approaches of language teaching. This dissertation is divided into three parts: The first part tries to give a short overview about culture. It collects the most important ideas and explains the importance of teachingthe culture of the second language. The second part of this dissertation is a research which examins the teachers’ and students’ opinions about teaching and learning English culture.This part also analyzes the competence of Enterprise I-II course books concerning cultural materials.
