The flavor, appearance, and consistency of honey can vary depending on the plants the bees collected nectar from, and the processing methods used by beekeepers. The primary objective of this research study was to analyze the physicochemical properties of different types of Hungarian honey based on their botanical origins, such as acacia, lime, rape, sunflower, and forest. The research aimed to examine the characteristics and to compare them. Honeys are rich in essential minerals, proline, and antioxidants; however, they also have high sugar content, so after the analysis of samples, our conclusion is that honeys be consumed in small amounts. The evaluation of physical and chemical properties is a reliable way to determine the quality of honey, and it is frequently used as a quality control measure. These properties are influenced by several factors such as the time of year when the honey was harvested, the level of maturity at the time of collection, environmental conditions, the type of plant the bees collected nectar from, and the bee species. The findings of the study indicate that the honey samples analyzed were of satisfactory chemical quality.48enhoney productionhoneyphysicochemical parametersstatistical analysiscorrelationlinear discriminant analysesExamination of physicochemical parameters of Hungarian beekeepers’ honeysDEENK Témalista::Mezőgazdaságtudomány::FöldműveléstanHozzáférhető a 2022 decemberi felsőoktatási törvénymódosítás értelmében.
