We (few of us from BitProjekt) met with Slobodan Stolić , an engineer under whos jurisdiction comes all the technical equipment which the hospital owns. He described what he expects from the application and gave us some samples of how the forms should look like, and how they should not diviate from the already existing paper forms. After a brief discusion it was concluded that the application should be web based and that the range of users will be failry small (3-5 people). What was described as a main functionality of the application was the ability to exchange messages between the staff of the hospital and the tech. Support, without using the phone or having to go to the tech support office and report a problem. Based on what Solobodan said, it was decided that the system will have three primary users: 1. Anyone which will report the problem, 2. Slobodan – (he will monitor all the requests ) and 3. The tech support which will be dispatched to fix the problem. From this point on we knew what we were dealing with and started developing accordingly, on several other accasions we met with Slobodan in order to gain some more information on specific deatails of how the system should interact and what are the restrictions should be. What was described as the biggest problem was the time it takes for people, when the problem is discovered, to report it.
