Orthodontists have a variety of options to choose to start the treatment, such as fixed appliances and clear aligner systems, with a vanguard of Invisalign, which is the most popular one, other than that, there are more products available as the competitors in the market, such as Orthoclear, ClearCorrect, and CA Clear Aligner. It is developed from a system that can treat only mild cases such as minor crowding and spacing to a system that is able to treat a more complex tooth movement and even class III malocclusion. Despite the evolution to treat the more severe tooth discrepancies, there are such cases that Clear Aligner treatment cannot solve the problem alone, but it will need the help of other treatment types, such as surgical or fixed appliances.
