I was interested in Chinese people’s life in the white American society. I mostly used Árpád Pásztor and Károly Vértesi's travelogues during my research. Their books “Amerika Kanadától Panamáig” and “Körutazás Amerikában” clearly represent Chinese people's living conditions from a Hungarian viewpoint.
