My thesis reviews the lean principles and classified AI algorithms. Based on its attribute that AI performs well in certain area like pattern recognition, data analysis and decision-making, I introduce several applications how AI technology can improve lean processes, like production forecast, identify wastes. Then in order to strength the point , I find nine case studies to illustrate the detailed methods and their relations.
