The RPA project on automation of the process of archiving electronic documents was used as the object of the study. This project aims to simplify the employee's work, specifically releasing their working hours. However, during the implementation phase, problems were identified that affected the inefficient allocation of resources. In this paper, problems have been identified and metrics have been implemented to assess the quality of the system. As a solution, the use of project management practices was proposed, in particular risk management methodology. By comparing the metrics of each version of the system, it was found that the use of project management significantly improves the quality of the IT system being developed, reduces development time, and increases user satisfaction.52enRobotic Process AutomationInformation TechnologyProject ManagementIntegrating Project Management Techniques to Optimize IT System Development and Resource AllocationInformatics::IT SystemsHozzáférhető a 2022 decemberi felsőoktatási törvénymódosítás értelmében.
