It is one of the few mental disorders whose etiology is known. The first-line treatment for PTSD is considered to be psychotherapy which mainly encourages patients to share their story and their experiences, overcome the fear they feel and recognize them as a survivor, and give meaning to it. The associated symptoms can be managed with the help of medications such as anti-depressants, sedatives, hypnotics, and anxiolytics. There is hope for recovery in patients suffering from PTSD with adequate help through therapies and treatment, physical exercise, healthy diet, and sleeping pattern.47enPTSD syndromeTreatment of PTSDPharmacological therapy of PTSDManagement Of Post-Traumatic Stress DisorderDEENK Témalista::Orvostudomány::Gyógyszerésztudomány
