Firstly, in the second chapter, a detailed introduction of humour can be found (in a linguistic approach), then in the third chapter language play is discussed. The fourth chapter tries to demonstrate the important features of puns and two different classifications of them are also presented. Finally, in the last chapter, a small research (carried out by me) about people’s taste in puns (perfect or imperfect puns are more preferred?) is described.
