The application of the postal rule or receipt rule provide interesting legal discourse in the case of inter-distance business communications. As using electronic comunication means to create international sales contracts has significantly increased, the issue may be highly controversial. The purpose of this thesis is to analyze the formation of contract concluded by electronic communication. Because technology is in constant evolution and the possibility of electronic communication in our days are far from the ones that could developed tomorrow, law faces permanent challange to adapt itself to these changes.
