NPCPD provides pedological data from about four million hectares of different types of production areas in Hungary and it also includes seven years (1984-1990) of information on complex crop production. Instead of central data collection, from 2005, farmers are obliged to perform soil sampling and soil analysis within the Agri-Environmental Program (AEP) based on legislative provisions. Basically, fertilizers had not been applied in Hungary until the middle of 1950. Negative P nutrient balance disappeared by the early 1970s. Farming, causing nutrient deficiencies, was replaced by the practice of nutrient supplying soil fertilization, which improved the nutrient content of the soils. By 1990, the soils of Hungarian arable lands had been filled with phosphorous. In 2000, this phenomenon supposed to be the 10 years aftereffect of soil conditioning P-fertilization. Based on soil analysis results, we aimed to analyze the load of phosphorous on the observation plot in Zala County. Our work was made difficult by the fact that only a few of the 60 holdings of the former socialist era remained as a “former socialist” successor. Thus, most of their agricultural data have been lost. The analysis of nutrient supply demonstrates that the available phosphorous content of the soils was greatly fluctuating during the past 40 years. Nowadays, thanks to the environmentally friendly farming the phosphorus content of the soils is increasing again, and the results can be monitored on our maps as well.7 old.enPHOSPHORUS LOAD, SMALL CATCHMENT AREA, SOILResults of phosphorus load soil examinations in a Small Catchment Area, Hungaryidegen nyelvű peer review publikációnincstudományterületek::egyéb
