Growing global competition has led to the need for warehouse process enhancements. By applying lean manufacturing tools such as Value Strem Mapping (VSM), the PDCA cycle, root cause analysis and ABC analysis to this study we identified major inefficiencies related to material placement, travel distances, and storage management. Through detailed field observations, warehouse data analysis, and close collaboration with staff, the research highlights that 55% of materials were incorrectly placed, causing excessive picking time and unnecessary movement. Proposed countermeasures included reorganizing materials based on picking frequency and optimizing storage locations, resulting in reduced travel time and improved workflow.
