Gál, ZoltánThaku, Morongwa Joyce2025-06-302025-06-302025-04-15https://hdl.handle.net/2437/394947Energy consumption has been a critical challenge for wireless sensor network, which has led to the development of routing protocols that aim to identify the optimal path which minimizes the use of energy on sensor nodes. My research evaluates the performance of three routing protocols, LEACH, SEP, and ZSEP using MATLAB simulation software. I analyze and contrast their energy efficiency and cluster formation dynamics under different levels of network heterogeneity and probabilities of selecting cluster heads. I aim to identify the routing protocol that effectively lowers energy consumption while providing a thorough insight into WSNs. LEACH, SEP, and ZSEP are assessed on essential performance metrics which include packets sent to the base station, average energy consumption, active node count, packet delivery costs, number of clusters and system entropy.54enWireless Sensor NetworkRouting ProtocolsMatlab SoftwareRouting Technics in Wireless Sensor NetworkInformaticsHozzáférhető a 2022 decemberi felsőoktatási törvénymódosítás értelmében.
