Neuropathic pain is a chronic and complicated type of pain that happens when there is damage or disease affecting the nerves responsible for sensing touch, temperature and pain. Different with nociceptive pain, that results from tissue damage, the neuropathic pain arises from direct nerve damage, leading to harmful alterations in how the peripheral and central nervous systems process pain signals. Frequent causes such as diabetic nerve damage, nerve pain following shingles, trigemini neuralgia, spinal cord trauma and neuropathy caused by cancer therapies such as chemotherapy. In this thesis we will summarized the possible molecules which can be or had been investigated as the potential therapeutic targets and application in mainly diseases.47enNeuropathic painNeuralgiaDiabeticPharmacology of Neuropathic PainMedicineHozzáférhető a 2022 decemberi felsőoktatási törvénymódosítás értelmében.
