The morphological properties of seeds, including their size and shape, are crucial in determining the dynamics of seed persistence across time. The primary aim of this study is to search for the relation between seed shape, size, thickness, and seed persistency in soil. Even though there have been many studies related to this topic all around the world with various floras, such analysis has not been done in Central Europe yet.
