The framework of the first part is built around John Lyons’s (1995) and D. Alan Cruse’s (2000) works but several other linguists’ ideas are also incorporated. In the second part a computerized lexical semantic database, called WordNet will be introduced. It is a useful tool which has opened up new possibilities for natural language researches. Unlike traditional printed dictionaries WordNet is able to provide a huge amount of information about the sense and lexical relations exist in the vocabulary of the English language.47ensemanticslexical databasesLexical Relations: Theory and PracticediplomamunkaDEENK Témalista::Nyelvtudomány::Alkalmazott nyelvészet
