In this study, we look at some of the emerging prospects for methane recovery from the AD animal manures. Anaerobic digestion of animal manure offers several environmental, agricultural, and socio-economic benefits through improved manure fertilizer quality, significant odor reduction, and pathogens inactivation, and last but not least, biogas production as clean, renewable fuel for multiple uses.
