These patients need timely diagnosis to avert severity. However, the currently utilized diagnostic test are not sensitive enough thus calling for a more specific alternative test. Circulating miRNA biomarkers are stable and the expression profile can change relative to the infection making them a potential diagnosic biomarker for invasve aspergillosis. We investigated 62 circulating miRNA in hematology and oncology patients with invasive aspergillosis and 34 miRNA were found to be differentially expressed. ROC analysis of the three combinations of 11 selected miRNA, showed a good diagnostic performance while the in silico prediction of the these miRNA target gene showed to affect biological pathways such as; cell cycle, apoptosis, metabolism, immune resposne and drug resistance. The study suggest the relevance of circulating miRNA biomarkers in diagnosis of the invasive aspergillosis in hematology and oncology patients.41enMicroRNAInvasive aspergillosisInvestigation of the specific miRNA in Hematology and Oncology Patients with Invasive aspergillosisDEENK Témalista::OrvostudományHozzáférhető a 2022 decemberi felsőoktatási törvénymódosítás értelmében.
