I present concepts like trauma, PTSD, and logotherapy as the theoretical background of my dissertation. I argue that the traumatic events had an impact on Eger's life, even after they were over; however, through making a choice not to let them influence her anymore, she could heal from past founds. I share episodes from Eger's life to support my argument and cite numeours experts in the field of psychology.23entraumaholocaustpsychologylogotheraphyThe Role of Choice in Trauma RecoverydiplomamunkaAn Analysis of a Holocaust Survivor's Narrative: Edith Eva Eger's The Choice: Embrace the PossibleA Döntés Szerepe a Trauma feldolgozásban: Egy holokauszt-túlélő narratívájának elemzése Edith Eva Eger A döntés című műve alapjánArtsPsychologyHozzáférhető a 2022 decemberi felsőoktatási törvénymódosítás értelmében.
