Accordinly, I have chosen a film, Love Actually by Richard Curtis, which is a popular romantic comedy. The film represents ten different stories, which seem to run parrallelly on the surface, however they are interlinked by the end of the film. The characters are from different age, sex, social status and cultural background, which gives a great opportunity to examine the different ways of language use by different people. For my analysis I aim to apply the devices of discourse analysis detailed in the first part of my thesis.55endiscourse analysisutteranceLove Actually from the Aspects of Discourse AnalysisdiplomamunkaCan Films Offer a Variety of Authentic Contextualized Language Sources for Language Teachers?DEENK Témalista::Nyelvtudomány::Nyelvészetip
