These can lead to complaints of increased sensitivity and esthetic issues. Disturbances to the process of amelogenesis during its different stages produce different types of enamel defects. Drugs including Anti-epileptic drugs, antibiotics, fluoride, chemotherapeutic agents, asthma medications and NSAIDs are commonly prescribed to pregnant women and young children.
