In this paper, from a gender labor perspective, based on disaggregated employment data of traditional and technology industries, and based on the gender wage gap in different industries or in different years, by analyzing the performance of scientific and technological progress and its impact on the improvement of the employment structure, the impact on the gender wage gap, the research finds that the increase in productivity, the decrease in the proportion of manual labor and the increase in social demand brought about by scientific and technological progress has to some extent improved the male and female employment status.
