The present paper wishes to examine two of the film adaptations: Kosminsky’s version from 1992 and Coky Giedroyc’s serial from 2009. The main reason for choosing these two versions is that they were filmed in the same period and in the same culture. Emily Brontё’s novel is a masterpiece in which characters are of utmost importance.
