Also, the maternal age at childbearing is increasing. It causes more likely to have multiple fertilizations, which caused by ovulating more than one egg and fertilized because of elevated FSH with age. Multiple pregnancies have a higher and more complicated risk of complications for both fetuses and mother than the singleton pregnancies. Several challenges can encounter before and after delivery. Multiple pregnancies need more careful control and holistic management for fetuses and mother.
