Many people from the working class could even be replaced by a simple newly invented machine. To demonstrate my point, I have chosen two famous dramas from the 1920s, which try to emphasize the decade’s dehumanizing pressures on the people. Nine cartoons, which were drawn in the 1920s are discussed and analyzed.The main focus is on their depiction of fashion, flappers and men and the flapper lifestyle.
