Absztrakt

The subject of my thesis is the exploration of the various aspects of Richard Wright’s prose. To be more specific, I have selected his short story collection Uncle Tom’s Children (1938), his most famous novel Native Son (1940) and his autobiographical novel Black Boy (1945) for the purposes of the present analysis. Primarily the thesis is going to examine the African American author’s works from a sociological point of view.
