    Determinants of coffee export in Ethiopia: a gravity model analysis

    This study analysed the factors that determine the volume of ECE based on panel data for the years 2001 to 2021 using gravity model. Results indicate that, exporter GDP and importer population and distance have significant negative effect. Importer GDP and exporter population was found to have a significant positive effect on ECE. Countries that share a common border and common currency are found to export mor than countries that do not share a common border or a common currency. The effect of the dummy variables common language, land locked exporter and land locked importer are found to be mixed. Trade openness to larger as well as neighbour countries can benefit Ethiopia from trade.

    With advances in computer technology, e-commerce has emerged, revolutionising traditional economic models and global trade, and significantly changing lifestyles and social perspectives. E-commerce poses both challenges and opportunities, especially for SMEs, which face a range of issues from technology to branding. This paper delves into the relationship between e-commerce and SMEs, identifying the challenges faced by SMEs and their success factors through case studies and analyses in China and Hungary. The study aims to reveal the key factors for the successful adoption of e-commerce by SMEs and to provide guidance for businesses aiming to enhance or launch their online presence.

    The Benefits of Venture Capital In Developing Countries' Economies

    This thesis investigates the benefits that venture capital (VC) has on developing countries' economies. The case study is done on South Africa. Research into three South African VC companies was performed in order to complete the objective of the thesis. The research proved to an extent that VC does help boost the economies of developing countries. It helps by creating a substantial number of jobs, growing the economy and influencing innovation.

    Can Food Giants Become Green Giants? A Comparative Analysis of Three Comapanies' Sustainability Strategies.

    This thesis is a comparative analysis on the sustainability prefromance of Pepsico, Mondelez International and Nestle , and concludes that the ESG ratings are a relevant indicator of sustainability. This thesis suggests that organizations routinely review, measure and report on their ESG perfromance. It also suggests that these organizations should improve their disclosure rate to build trust in their ESG prefromance, and it also examines their overall influence on the enviroment as world-leading corporations in their feild. This thesis also concludes that all three of the food giants (Nestle, Mondelez International, & PepsiCo) are still engaged in a path towards sustainability, and becoming Green Food Giants will need continued commitment, innovation, and adaptability on their part.

    Driving Forces of Becoming Entrepreneur - Case Study Analysis in Kumasi

    People enter into entrepreneurship without the knowledge of the force that is driving them into the venture. These driving forces are factored into "Push" and "Pull", and this study sort to find out the driving forces of entrepreneurs in Kumasi. The study adopted the qualitative approach and the descriptive study design with 30 participants to achieve the objectives. It was realised at the end of the study that, entrepreneurs in Kumasi were pulled into entrepreneurship. The study's findings might not account for external factors such as macroeconomics trend, global event or changes in government policies. Therefore, it is imperative for further research to be conducted to account for external factors like changes in government policies, global events, and macroeconomic trends.

    The contemporary generation is increasingly preferring pets over starting families, citing both economic and emotional reasons. This shift has led to a surge in pet adoption rates in China, though travel-related concerns due to limited airline and accommodation provisions for pets persist. The study proposes a digital platform to link pet owners with qualified caretakers, circumventing traditional pet care shortcomings. Drawing parallels with mature Western pet markets, China's burgeoning pet sector presents vast potential for investors. The proposed online platform aims to revolutionize the pet industry by addressing its current challenges and anticipates strong profitability in the coming years.

    The thesis offers a comprehensive perspective on the Protection of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in International Business Law while highlighting the growing importance of FDI in the global economy and the need for robust legal frameworks to safeguard these investments discussing key principles and mechanisms governing FDI protection, such as patent protection, protection guidlines etc, it also goes into the challenges associated with FDI protection, including the balance between investor rights and host state sovereignty pointing out the evolving landscape of FDI agreements and the emergence of bilateral investment treaties (BITs) and multilateral agreements.

By employing a mixed-methods approach to data analysis, which encompasses surveys, reports, and literature research, our aim is to gain a comprehensive understanding of stakeholder attitudes and discern potential avenues for achieving sustainable growth. This research endeavors to provide insight into the advancements and obstacles encountered in the endeavor to develop sustainable electric vehicles (EVs). Its objective is to enlighten stakeholders and make a valuable contribution towards a transportation future that is environmentally friendly and sustainable for the transport industry.

    The Important Role of the Chinese Government in Responding to Inflation during the COVID-19 Epidemic

    COVID-19 significantly impacted China's economy, causing simultaneous declines in both supply and demand. As the inflation rate is vital for economic stability and policy formulation, it became a focal point during the pandemic. The Chinese government quickly implemented measures such as adjusting monetary policies, ensuring the supply of crucial materials, and introducing fiscal measures like tax cuts to stabilize the economy and combat inflation. This research utilized literature reviews, theoretical analyses, empirical evaluations, and comparative methods to investigate inflation during the epidemic. Findings reveal that while the epidemic brought an inflationary trend, government actions effectively mitigated its pressures.

    The impact of the Chinese government on economic indicators and its role in Reform and Opening Up. Reform and Opening Up is a policy that Chinese government has implemented since 1978. Its main purpose is to reform the economy and various economic-related fields. For example, market economic system, foreign trade system, financial system, modern company system, etc. Within 45 years of the Reform and Opening Up policy, China has completed rapid economic leaps and established a complete modern system in many related fields. The Chinese government plays an indispensable and smart role in this policy, and the role played by the Chinese government is not completely consistent from beginning to end, but changes with development.

    Fair Trade Practices in Asia a Case Study of Nepal and India

    This extensive thesis sets out to investigate fair trade in great depth, covering its foundations, principles, and certifications. The two main case studies Nepal and India produced some amazing revelations. Despite early assumptions, Nepal turned out to be a strong participant in fair trade, with a solid base and notable accomplishments. The contradictory outcomes emphasize the complex aspects of fair trade, and Nepal's achievements serve as evidence of the real advantages it offers to small farmers. On the other hand, India's unrealized potential highlights the bright future for fair trade in the area. Essentially, the study highlights the transformational potential of fair trade in both existing and developing networks as a way to reduce poverty, advance social justice, and support the larger framework of sustainable development. In the end, this study reveals the complexity of fair trade and how it contributes to the development of a more fair and just world economy.

    In this research paper, we investigated influence of social media marketing on purchasing behavior within the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry. The study focus on the relationship between social media marketing and consumer engagement besides the analysis of a case study which is Jumia as a leading e-commerce platform in Africa. We concluded that the growth of the e-commerce platforms in Africa can be achieved with effective marketing strategies of FMCG products.

    The economic impact of China's post-disaster economic recovery policy

    This paper focuses on the impact of economic policies on the economy, and why some countries are more affected by natural disasters, and why some countries are less affected by natural disasters. In the aftermath of the natural disaster, the positions and impacts of China and Myanmar differ greatly. China's economy recovered quickly after a brief downturn, while Myanmar's recovery has been relatively slow. By comparing rich and poor countries, this paper draws the conclusion that poor countries are more vulnerable to natural disasters, while rich countries are less affected by natural disasters.

Its main goal is to ascertain what protections foreign investors have in the face of risks, analyze the effectiveness of international law in safeguarding them, and assess whether these protective measures benefit or hinder the involved parties. It delves into how the proper application of international investment law can stimulate economic growth, technology transfer, job creation, and overall economic development for both parties, by highlighting the difficulties, prospects, and results of using international investment law to address investment disputes in developing nations.

    The thesis explores the complex relationship between squash and Egyptian culture by looking at many perspectives on the game. In Egypt, squash is more than just a game; it's a source of pride in the country and a motivation for self-control and commitment. the survey, which was performed just in Egypt, looks at issues including popularity, societal influence, obstacles, and the tendency of players thinking about changing their nationality. Because of the historical significance of the sport and the international success of Egyptian athletes, respondents' opinions ranged from passionate supporters to doubters. Despite its importance, obstacles like a lack of finance, problems with accessibility, and a lack of government support limit its expansion, especially among young people. In order to preserve Egypt's squash heritage for future generations, the thesis emphasizes the necessity of strategic efforts and cooperation.

    This thesis examined how government initiatives and foreign aid affected agricultural output and poverty in Nigeria. This work has presented a multi-dimensional knowledge of the complicated interaction between these variables by a comprehensive literature review, empirical analysis using World Bank and FAO data, and a public opinion survey. The quantitative data from online databases helps to visualize that there has been a modest progress in production value of Nigerian agriculture. Moreover, there has been a noticeable increase in productivity since 1960s due to rapid adoption of fertilizers. Despite all these, the agricultural sectors production and share in economy is decreasing consistently.

Anchored by authoritative data sources such as TUIK, ILO, and IOM, this research aims to enrich the scholarly conversation on migration dynamics in the Turkish periphery.

    Exploring the Influence of AI-Generated Images in Advertising on Consumer Behavior.

    This research aimed to understand how individuals perceive AI-generated images versus human-captured images for advertising. An analysis was conducted across different demographics, including age, gender, and educational backgrounds, with 200 participants involved. Participants were asked to rate the realism of AI-generated images compared to human photographs and their suitability in advertising campaigns. Statistical analysis, using tools like SPSS and PowerBI, and independent samples t-test were employed to evaluate the ratings. The findings revealed that human-captured images were rated higher in terms of realism and overall metrics. However, there's an increasing acceptance of AI-generated content in advertising, suggesting advertisers should consider its use, especially in demographics more open to it.
