Szubverzió a modern filozófiában: Felforgató gondolatalakzatok Friedrich Schlegel, Soren Kierkegaard és Friedrich Nietzsche munkáiban

Absztrakt

Dolgozatomban a felforgató gondolatalakzatok jelenlétét elemzem a 19. századi kontinentális filozófiában. Három gondolkodó munkásságán keresztül mutatom be a filozófiai szubverzió gyakorlatát. A második általam vizsgált gondolkodó Søren Kierkegaard, akinek alapvetően a fiatalkori munkáira fókuszálok.

In my thesis I analyse the subversive philosophemes in the 19th century philosophy. The main purpose of the thesis is to separate the historical version of the subversive philosophy from the traditional meaning of the philosophical subversion. According to the thesis’s standpoint the philosophical subversion is an alternative tendency of the history of philosophy; this specific form presupposes a proper, veiling epistemological conception. I interpret the philosophical subversion as a productive process of a minimal transformation which concludes to a radically new theoretical idea. This process has two types, the first one is the permutation of the ordinary or vulgar conceptions, and the second one is when a thinker transforms some other philosophers’ notions. The subversive philosophers state the veiling, “velative” conception of the truth. The subversive transformation is not only a negative process, but a positive method to create new truths. Nevertheless, the subversive philosophy dispenses with invariable, constant statements and notions. This alternative tendency does not create a new paradigm, but maintains its aporic nature. The subversive philosophy has numerous and significant prefigures, but the proper form of the subversion appears after Kant’s critical turn. One of the main theses of my work is that the real subversive philosophy is a typical modern form of thinking developed in the end of 18th century. I show features of the philosophical subversion through the works of three philosophers in the 19th century. I make a distinction between the subversive and not subversive periods of Friedrich Schlegel’s oeuvre. In this chapter I look for typical transformations in his conceptions about language, origin, “Bildung”, “Witz”, desire, paradoxes and history. I emphasize his intellectual relationship with Novalis, and analyse his subversive interpretation of some earlier thinkers rarely mentioned in the Schlegel-reception (e.g. Meister Eckhart, Spinoza, Shaftesbury). The central author of the second chapter is Søren Kierkegaard. I focus on the Danish philosopher’s early works, especially on his ideas about parody, irony, and humour. In this respect I reconstruct the Schlegel- and Hamann-interpretation of Kierkegaard. I argue that the philosophical guarantee of Kierkegaard’s subversion is the ideas of indirect communication, absurdity, exception, and the pseudonym writing technic. The third chapter is about Friedrich Nietzsche; in this part I investigate his theory of language and rhetoric notions, especially the role of the terms “Verstellung” and “Redlichkeit” in his oeuvre. I also analyse the subversive motives in his Aristotle- and Cicero-interpretation. After that I highlight the Nietzschean subversive aspects of the culture-conception, and I discuss the absurd problem of the “subversive paradigm”: Nietzsche’s reflections to Spinoza and Luther lighten the incompatibly of the two terms. Finally I write about the variations of Nietzsche’s origin-concept and the “surety” of the philosophers. In the conclusion I make some remarks about the forms of the subversive philosophy in the 20th century.
