The study was to analyze the air pollution-related morbidity in Georgia and its neighboring countries including the Russian Federation, Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Turkey. This study also aimed to show and compare the long-term trends in morbidity from COPD, cardiovascular diseases, and lung cancer attributed to exposure to airborne particles between 1990 and 2016.
