N-Heterocyclic carbene ligands and their Rh(I) complexes. Mechanochemical and solvent synthesis and catalytic applications.

Absztrakt
Several Rh(I) and Pd(II) complexes of NHCs have been synthesized and well-characterized in the traditional solvent method and in a ball mill. Report of the first Rh(I)-di(NHC) complexes have also been done. Catalytic application of the complexes was checked and found to be excellent for polymerization of phenylacetylene and hydration of nitriles.
