dc.description.abstractThis thesis first delves into the properties of superconductors. These properties such as zero resistance can be used to develop systems that protect power grids. Cables made of superconductors are used to create an sfcl system for grid protection. Finally, A design is proposed for the development of an sfcl grid protection system
