dc.description.abstractThis thesis investigates the benefits that venture capital (VC) has on developing countries' economies. The case study is done on South Africa. Research into three South African VC companies was performed in order to complete the objective of the thesis. The research proved to an extent that VC does help boost the economies of developing countries. It helps by creating a substantial number of jobs, growing the economy and influencing innovation.
