dc.description.abstract | Smart technology has been a focal point of technological advancements in recent years. This thesis work primarily focuses on the design and hardware development of a smart home system prototype by using IoT methodologies and Electronics. The goal of the thesis is to create a low-cost PCB prototype – the IoT Smart Home PCB – capable of performing multiple home automation tasks. The thesis also focuses on the necessary software implications that are integral for designing this smart home system. Future work and suggested improvements for the system are discussed as well at the end of this thesis work. | |
