This thesis presents the Development of support tools for data-driven testing of Atlassian Jira Cloud applications that have been carried out during my internship period. The main aim of this thesis is to discuss and explore in-depth an automated tool that utilizes data provided to support developers, consultants, and companies who are using Atlassian Jira and need specially crafted test data inside their Jira system. It starts by introducing readers to Atlassian products which are currently popular for IT companies to manage their teams, and it dives deeper into Atlassian Jira. It also explores Jira REST API and backup/restore mechanisms which are the two methods that are used for automation. Technologies and algorithms have been used to create this application and the user manual will also be introduced. In the end, it will point out the differences between the two mechanisms that the application has, and how they can be useful in different contexts.
