dc.description.abstractThe focus of my thesis, titled "Digital Agriculture: Empowering Nigerian Economy Through Web Application Implementations," is to examine how digital technology might bring about significant changes and improvements in Nigeria's agricultural sector. The objective is to improve agricultural productivity and market access by creating and using online apps. The thesis aims to empower farmers by utilizing information and communication technology (ICT) to provide them with real-time data, market prices, and agricultural best practices. Furthermore, the study examines how digital platforms contribute to narrowing the gap in access to technology among farmers and promoting equitable development in the agricultural value chain. The ultimate objective is to showcase the potential of digital agriculture in promoting sustainable growth of Nigeria's economy through the facilitation of innovation, efficiency, and resilience in the agricultural sector.
