This thesis examines the prevalence of killer and resistant phenotypes in yeast strains against K1 and K2 toxins. Testing 13 strains revealed varying resistance levels, with some strains showing high resilience, suitable for probiotic and industrial use. These insights help in selecting effective yeasts for applications in food, health, and animal husbandry.
