Low-cost home security system

Abstract

The aim of the of this project was to create a low-cost home security system. Home/premise security is a vital concern for every home owner. The safety of your property while you're away as well as your personal security while at home relies on having a robust home security system. This system was developed to ensure that it is low-cost but at the same time make it reliable and efficient as well. This system creates a robust home security system that provides you with immediate notification in case of intrusion in the form of a buzzer alarm as well as a remote notification by the use of an SMS notification.
