A newly equipped filtration machine at the Chemical Technology laboratory is being investigated. This plate or frame filtration machine works on pressurized solutions that flow through forming a cake between the cloth and filter plates. The flow rate is the data we need to complete the research after calibrating both the flow rate and the pressure. the Filter medium resistance should be of same range throughout the whole process, it is validated. Calcium carbonate is used as a slurry on 10 filter plates to calculate the filtration constant and the filter cake resistance. The solutions validated are the calibrations, filter medium resistance, with errors occurring in the filtration constant values stated in the conclusion of the thesis.hu_HU
