dc.description.abstractUrban traffic management, a feature of smart transportation is the various measures taken to prevent traffic and minimize the effects caused by traffic. Smart parking, a smart city intitaive is one of the solutions impelemtnted in urban traffic management. ParkMaps is an web-based urban traffic managamnt solution aimed to ease the stress that comes with finding available parking areas. It is a parking application that will dispaly the number of available parking areas of a particular location upon request of the driver. It will also direct them to their parking destination with the use of Google Maps.
