Absztrakt
My thesis presents a clear and insightful investigation into the coordination chemistry between the organoruthenium cation and the ambidentate ligand ImPropHpH. I successfully address a major gap in previous research by clarifying the slow and poorly understood interaction between this ligand and ruthenium. Through the combined use of ¹H NMR and ESI-MS, I provide strong, well-interpreted evidence for the formation of both mono- and dinuclear complexes. The consistency between the NMR data and the mass-spectrometric results reinforces the reliability of my structural conclusions. My work is organized logically, demonstrates solid technical understanding, and effectively communicates complex chemical behavior. Overall, the thesis contributes meaningful new characterization that will support the future design of ruthenium-based anticancer agents.
