dc.description.abstractThis study intends to contribute to our understanding of the Mecsek Mountains by undertaking a petrological analysis of gathered basaltic rock samples obtained from a drill core that intersects the Boda Siltstone Formation. The study will specifically focus on preparing and analysing thin slices of materials under a microscope, which will offer information about their mineralogical and textural properties.
