dc.description.abstractwe investigated the complexation behavour of 1-amino-5-isocyanoanthracene (ICAA) and 2-amino-6-isocyano-acridine (ICAAc), they are both non-polar compounds. spectral changes in ICAA had a lower intensity than ICAAc with a greater quenching effect. the intensity dropped to one tenth in both solvents used for ICAA. ICAAc had greater intensities and batochromic shifthu_HU
